Rules on Videotaping League Events

The OEMHL AA and A League does not permit videotaping of League events (including games, all-star events or showcase events) from the player benches, either penalty booth or the timekeeper box.

A game may be videotaped from the stands and/or spectator area, so long as:

1. The camera does not zoom in on or focus entirely upon a particular player or players; i.e. wide angle shots only. The sole exception is where a parent wishes to video their own child.

2. Parents in the stands are not videotaped without their express permission.

3. Should a coach or team official ask that no player from their team be recorded, this request will be honoured.

4. No part of any game video may be placed on a personal or video-sharing web site, such as YouTube.

Anyone contravening these restrictions will be dealt with by the League.
